This is a stunning 1981 Seiko Dolce, one of Seiko's high-end quartz pieces from the 80s and 90s. This specific model retailed for a hefty 83,000 yen back in 1982 and is presented in fantastic, near-mint condition. The NSAG super hard alloy case, akin to tungsten carbide, boasts a surface hardness of about 1200 Hv, making it incredibly resistant to scratches and appearing practically brand new. The sapphire crystal is absolutely flawless, crystal clear and scratch free, while the natural Onyx crown adds a touch of refined elegance.
Under that perfect crystal is a flawless black dial, meticulously crafted with fine details. Inside, the Quartz 6030 movement with 8 jewels is super clean and running perfectly. This was a high-end quartz movement, rated at +-15 seconds per month, and features a useful battery life indicator function where the seconds hand moves at two-second intervals when the power is low. This watch was recently disassembled and cleaned, and had a new battery installed, ensuring it is ready for its next owner.
It comes on a brand new Seiko black genuine leather belt, model DAP8 cowhide, providing super comfortable wear. This is a true JDM timepiece, embodying Seiko's renowned craftsmanship and attention to detail.
