Description:Rare Beautiful Blue Vintage Seiko Chariot SMW71 2220-0470 Hand. The Seiko Chariot series was a set of manual wind watches released in the 70s during the Quartz Era. Cal. 2220A features 24 Jewel hand wind movement that beats at 28800 bph. The movement itself is thin at 3.3mm high making this an idea movement for a dress watch. This watch dates to July 1975 based on the case back serial. Dial is a beautiful deep metallic blue with subtle vertical texturing; there are nice thin contrasting hands and hour markers; all in excellent shape. Original unsigned crown winds easily and moves the hands well. Movement is in perfect condition; the watch is keeping good time. The 2220 Chariot series is a less common Seiko hand wind watch which would serve great as a dress watch.
