This beautiful Omega Seamaster Chronograph Ref. 145.006-66 is a seldom-seen variant from the mid-1960s, distinguished by its rare “albino” white dial configuration.
This example features white radial sub-dials, a matching white matte tachymetre scale, and a red central chronograph seconds hand, a striking detail also seen on the Omega Chronostop and the iconic 1967 Speedmaster “Ultraman”. These subtle but rare design cues give this piece a unique and highly sought-after aesthetic.
Powering the watch is the legendary Calibre 321 manual chronograph movement, Omega’s revered column-wheel movement also used in the early Speedmasters. This movement dates to 1966, making it an earlier production of this reference.
The c-shaped stainless steel case remains in unpolished condition, showing only light hairline scratches, consistent with careful wear over time. It retains its raised dome plexiglass and showcases an exceptional silver sunburst dial that remains clean and well-preserved, a rarity for this reference, which is often seen with water damage or degradation.
With its scarce dial configuration, historic movement, and overall clean condition, this reference 145.006-66 is a collector-worthy chronograph that rarely surfaces in such preserved form.
